This website is intended to tell the stories of the men of Victor 5 Company Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment who served in the jungles of South Vietnam 1970-1971. It is envisaged that it will allow a record of the life of the company to be shared with colleagues, family, friends and the wider community. It is also hoped that this website may generate some urgency to the collection and recording of a collection of common experiences by way of stories and pictures as a wider resource. It is also hoped that with time assistance can be provided to members of V5 and their families in dealing with issues of concern to members of V5 such as health and welfare.
Please remember to check the clickable news links shown in yellow below the site menu for updates on issues of interest to V5 members and site news.
Welcome to what is hoped will become the cyberspace home of V5 RNZIR.
